PREMIERE: Six Songs to Orpheus

Six Songs to Orpheus for tenor and piano were performed for the first time by Andrew Kennedy and Tim Watts on 4th September 2011 at Girton College, Cambridge. 
The concert formed part of a CRASSH conference exploring the theme, 'Literary Britten' and the cycle sets poems by poets of particular importance to Britten: Auden, Owen, Keats, Blake, Hardy and Tennyson.  It is dedicated to Andrew and Kate Kennedy.
